twitter TMI

it’s here. and it ain’t going anywhere. the phenom that is ‘twitter’ has hit our nation, and it seems more and more people jump on the bandwagon each day. including celebrities. users up to the millions have begun following these celebs, excited to get a personal peek into their day-to-day. but if you ask me, we’ve experienced quite a bit of tmi if ya know what i mean.

diddy (@iamdiddy) took to his twitter to announce the following update: “Having tantric sex!!!! I feel so much better.!!! Thank you.” no diddy, thank you.

and here we have travis barker (@trvsbrkr), airing some dirty laundry to not just the neighbors, but all of his 176,000 followers. apparently he’s been having some babymomma drama with ex-wife shanna moakler, as per his twitter: “Kids are not to be used as weapons. Deadbeat moms that sleep all day, seeking money, attention like 2 do so. Just hurts the kids in the end.”

wow, harsh. here are some other fun ones. benji madden (@benjaminmadden): “just took a pee.” kelly osbourne (@misskellyo): “Note to self never eat never eat beats they make you fart!!!!!!!!!!! Why wont it stop I’m so embarrassed!!!”

i dove into the world of manolos & louis vuitton, finally renting the ‘sex and the city’ movie. i know, i’m a little late on the bandwagon. like 10 years late! i’ve never even seen a full episode on tv. but i decided to go there. so i’ll give it to ya straight. why i liked it & why i didn’t.

of course the clothes were fabulous, that’s a given. i applaud the visual aspects of the movie. but to be honest – that was about all i liked. first off, it was too dang LONG! i found myself wishing it would just end already. and there was waaayy too much going on. they were happy, sad, happy, single, married, divorced, reconciled, then sad, then happy all over again. i really wish they would’ve spent time developing a storyline instead of cutting up several & pasting them back together at the end.
there were also some very strange transitions. i remember at one point we were laughing at carrie & the next we were (or maybe just me) covering my eyes while samantha’s neighbor had a threesome! but i will say samantha was my favorite character. she gave the movie the witty banter that it needed.

overall – hey, why not – it was exactly what fans of the movie wanted it to be. true to the tv show, fun, fashionable & all about the laaaadies!
