j. timberlake stopped by late night with jimmy fallon to promote his upcoming flick, the social network. but the interview took an interesting turn when the two began discussing the evolution of rap. starting with sugarhill gang’s rapper’s delight and ending with jay-z and alicia keys’ empire state of mind, justin & jimmy took us through a hip-hop time machine.

robert pattinson is… bothered! the vampire was portrayed hilariously by jimmy fallon on his late night show – and shared exactly why valentine’s day “bothers” him. flowers, candy, the shapes of hearts… it’s all part of pattinson’s party pooper rant. check it out above.

alright, here’s my plea. robbie boy is set to appear on jimmy’s show on march 1st to promote his latest flick, ‘remember me.’ (which, actually looks pretty interesting.) i hope jimmy can convince robert to help him spoof the “bothered” segment. make it happen!

sure she’s gorrrrgeous, but can she be funny? megan fox of ‘transformer’s fame is headlining ’saturday night live’s’ season 35th premiere tonight as the sketch show’s host.  she & cast member andy samberg put together a series of web promos for the big show – check them out above.

based on the promos, i’d be surprised if every skit didn’t focus on her good looks. let’s face it – the girl ain’t famous for her acting. her latest flick, ‘jennifer’s body,’ bombed big time at the box office. but the ‘snl’ cast is known for being able to carry guest hosts along – anyone recall the michael phelps episode?! – so i’m sure meggy will be just fine.

although, i gotta admit, she’s a fairly awkward person. the lady appeared on the jimmy fallon show this past thursday to discuss her upcoming ‘snl’ debut, and things got kinda strange. apparently she’s scared of touching paper? in any case, tonight’s the big night. megan will bring her crazy to nyc and we’ll see if she gets our laughs. also starring with megan will be musical guest u2. go big or go home, megs!

words cannot express the hilarity of this jimmy fallon bit. the late-night host premiered his latest brainchild last night, a series of parodies called ‘robert is bothered.’ fallon imitates ‘twilight’ superstar robert pattinson in the sketch, and talks about things that bother him. he even got a little website up and running. 

complete with shag-a-licious hair and a thick british accent, fallon succeeds in bringing robert to life. have you ever seen a robert pattinson interview? he is just as charming as ever, but you can’t deny he acts just a little bit kooky.

in the video above, ‘robert’ talks about how he is bothered by discovery channel’s shark week because sharks, in some ways, mimic vampires. “sharks bite people when they smell blood,” he says. “sound familiar? oh yeah, wait, they’re like vampires. copy-cat fishes. copy-fishes!”

all i can say is i hope jimmy plans on making this a weekly segment. pattinson has spent all of his fame thus far being utterly adored – let’s poke fun at him a bit!

people mag got the old crew together to spill some deets on what life was really like back during their filming days. while we don’t have excerpts yet, the cover claims to have the low-down on ”the hookups, the meltdowns, the memories: the cast reveals what was really going on… and what they think of each other now.”

mark paul gosselaar (zack morris), lark voorhies (lisa turtle), elizabeth berkley (jessie spano), mario lopez (a.c. slater), & tiffani thiessen (kelly kapowski) all pose together to remind us how much we miss them in action. but have you noticed yet? absent from the reunion cover is dustin diamond, or as we know him, screech powers. what, did he have something better going on? maybe he was busy making another sex tape. let’s hope not.

in other ‘saved by the bell’ news, late-night host jimmy fallon has been notoriously trying to get the crew to do a taped reunion – as we saw that hilarious clip of mark paul gosselaar on the show a while back. but jimmy hasn’t been able to get through to all of them yet. namely, tiffani thiessen. the actress takes to the ‘funny or die’ stage to announce why she hasn’t been able to participate. she’s just too darn busy! watch below for some laughs. 

nostalgia, its feels so good. mark-paul gosselaar was set to appear on late night with jimmy fallon this past tuesday night, and we instead were treated to a little surprise. gosselaar reprised his most famous character, zack morris from ‘saved by the bell.’ and it was glooorious. i never realized how much i missed the days of kelly kapowski & slater, bayside high & the max.

the vid above features the 9-minute interview with the famed beach-blonde teenager. complete with the oversized cell phone & freeze-frames, it felt just like before. but gosselaar’s moved on to drama these days - there to ultimately promote the new season of TNT’s ‘raising the bar,’ in which he plays a high-powered lawyer. click here to see video & air dates of the hit show.
