she must be really hard-up for cash if she was willing to divulge these dark secrets. or maybe it’s part of her recovery? she gives a blow-by-blow account of her two drunk driving arrests, three rehab visits, and cocaine usage.
the underlying cause of her erratic behavior, she says now, was her father airing the family’s dirty laundry in public.
“that’s when i hit rock bottom. i abused substances too much, and it wasn’t the answer to my problems. people need to know that… i tried to mask my problems with alcohol, cocaine, and mind-altering substances. now i’m in a place where i don’t need to use anything and i feel emotions because i choose to.”
fame really did a number on her, unfortunately. lohan goes on to say that she never wants to lose everything she’s worked for. but it ain’t a secret that the actress hasn’t been in any hit movies lately. so the question is, has the damage already been done?
