breaking his silence

this is huge!!

according to PGATour.com, tiger woods will be addressing the press & public this friday at 11am eastern time. tiger’s agent mark steinberg has said tiger will be “apologizing for his behavior as well as discussing his plans for his career.” (see screen shot of announcement below)

this will be the golf pro’s first public appearance since nov. 27, when his florida car crash ignitied a series of infidelity admissions and consequently, some really bad press.

oh man oh man. i can only imagine how many people will be tuning in for this event! only a small group of tiger’s friends and colleaugeus have been invited to the conference, so we shouldn’t expect large crowd. tiger has prepared a statement, but will not be answering any questions.

yeah, good call on that one. let’s see if the public can forgive him!

UPDATE: the following message was just posted on tiger woods’ official website: “while tiger feels that what happened is fundamentally a matter between him and his wife, he also recognizes that he has hurt and let down a lot of other people who were close to him. he also let down his fans. he wants to begin the process of making amends, and that’s what he’s going to discuss.”

ask ashley

no, she won’t go away. especially not now! shamed new york governor eliot spitzer had a little run-around with call girl ashley dupre. and now the little lady thinks she’s got wisdom to share.

when the press uncovered tiger woods’ 14 (gasp!) mistresses, dupre opened her mouth with “advice” for the young women caught up in the scandal. well it appears that the new york post was listening, because they gone and hired her as an advice columnist! for reals. check out this extremely painful-to-watch promo video for her new gig.

ask her ANYthing, she says. she’ll be the inspiration for home-wreckers, mistresses, and hookers everywhere!
